Andrew Hillis is a Brentwood, TN native and joined TBH in 2018 as a financial advisor. He is a highly valued team member and has emphasized mastering the team’s financial planning software to better serve clients. Andrew developed a passion for finance watching his father, who owns a successful tax practice in Nashville, change clients’ lives with good advice and outstanding customer service.
Valuing a tailored approach, Andrew assists TBH clients to set and meet their long-term financial goals. Whether someone is planning for retirement, growing their portfolio, providing a legacy, or simply saving for college, Andrew can create a detailed strategy that aligns with each client’s objective.
Before working at TBH, Andrew was drafted in the 11th round to the Milwaukee Brewers and enjoyed several seasons as a minor leaguer. During this time, Andrew learned the importance of paying your dues, working under pressure, and most crucially, setting and sticking to a budget. When he retired from professional baseball, he earned a B.S. in Finance at MTSU.
Andrew has been married to his wife Ashley, also a Brentwood native, since 2017. Ashley is a special education teacher at a local school in Brentwood. They attend Brentwood Baptist Church and are both involved in many activities throughout the community. Andrew is an avid University of Tennessee and Tennessee Titans fan and enjoys exercising, golfing, softball, and spending time at the lake.
